Status: Found, and not yet explained

When the team began clearing, they found a series of photographs.

Propped against the wall. Unhung. Unlabelled. Undisturbed, by the look of it, for a very long time.

The image shows a hunt meet outside the Hall. A large pack of hounds. A crowd gathered on the gravel in front of the entrance. A rider on horseback to the right.

Early-to-mid twentieth century, by the look of the clothing. Beyond that, we don't yet know.

We will speak with a local historian.

In the meantime — if you recognise a face, a name, or anything that places this image in time, we would very much like to hear from you.

The Hall has clearly seen a great deal.

We are only beginning to find out what.
